The now truly international hit comedy show, Busting Out! returns to Australian stages, direct from a sold out UK tour.

Stars of the show, Emma Powell and Bev Killick have spent the last three and half months taking the best of Aussie humour right across the United Kingdom, from Southampton to Aberdeen and 35 other cities in between. The tour included a one month season at the world famous Edinburgh Festival gaining much praise from audiences and critics alike.

Bit there's no place like home and Emma and Bev are delighted to be getting back on stage in their home town of Melbourne.

Famed for both its irreverence and inclusivity, no matter what your age, shape or size (or gender!) you’re in for a riotous night at Busting Out! one that will release all your inhibitions. Its an evening that’s part musical, part stand up, part theatre and part cabaret, with the audience leaving busting to tell their friends about the feel-good show of the decade!

Created by Emma Powell (Mamma Mia) and co-starring top comedian Bev Killick (Kath and Kim), Busting Out! combines skits, tricks and songs in an irreverent look at that much revered embodiment of womanhood – the breast.

“In this day and age, the silicone-enhanced, strategically placed appendage is admired for its beauty and image of perfection,” says Emma. ”Busting Out! takes real boobs and has a lot of fun with those idealised wobbly bits of flesh that are sexy and alluring to some, nurturing and beautiful to others, and useful and funny to us.”

Before creating Busting Out! Emma Powell was well known for roles in hit musicals including Mamma Mia!, Fiddler on the Roof (with Topol) and Les Misérables. Her new show Dumped! The Musical We’ve All Been Through will tour to more Australian cities in 2011.
