Italian rock superstar ZUCCHERO will tour Australia to perform LIVE in Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne & Sydney in April 2013, proudly presented by Abstract Entertainment.

ZUCCHERO's music is largely inspired by gospel, blues and rock music. His credits are nothing short of phenomenal with record sales of more than 40 million albums sold worldwide and recipient of two World Music Awards, six IFPE Europe Platinum Awards and a Grammy Award nomination, in a career that has spanned four decades. King of the blues/pop funky etc. well-known all over the world, ZUCCHERO is the only Italian superstar to be accredited for in the mega world gatherings: Mandela Day, LIVE AID, side by side of the international music monsters like U2, QUEEN, JOE COCKER, ERIC CLAPTON, ANASTACIA, BRIAN MAY, ROGER TAYLOR, SHARON CORSS etc. With his professionalism discovered and launched the great ANDREA BOCELLI. And then made a duet together, the song is MISERERE sung also in a duet with the great late maestro LUCIANO PAVAROTTI. His international success has no brakes.

Inseparable friend of the grand maestro, ZUCCHERO was one of the first true leaders of the mega concerts PAVAROTTI & FRIENDS, he performed duets with Pavarotti and also with many, big stars from the international music industry.

All you need to do is have a look and listen to his live DVD "ZU & COMPANY" (2004) in the Italian and international versions to appreciate and assist one of the most important events and internationally organised from an Italian artist. A mega concert which was held at the ROYAL ALBERT HALL of LONDON with duets together with top international great artists like: the late MILES DAVIS, STING, VANESSA CARLTON, MACY GRAY, JEFF BECK, JOHN LEE HOOKER, SHERYL CROW, ERIC CLAPTON, TOM JONES, B. B. KING, RONAN KEATING, SOLOMON BURKE, PAUL YOUNG, BRIAN MAY, the late great LUCIANO PAVAROTTI, ANDREA BOCELLI and TINA ARENA. Memorable and amazing was also ZUCCHERO’s concert at the Circus Maximus of Rome in 2004, on the occasion of 1° May Festivities, in front of 500,000 persons. The late great RAY CHARLES once said of ZUCCHERO: "This guy is so talented...a great voice....probably one of the best blues musicians I've ever worked with".

A professional career always in continuous rise, rewarded in 2006 from the President of the Italian Republic Carlo Azeglio Ciampi, also received the title of COMMANDER OF ITALY together with PAVAROTTI and BOCELLI (only Italian artists to receive this title). His concerts are by now renowned for the enthusiasm, the first-class production and the participation of thousand and thousands of persons. Just to think that with the SHAKE WORLD TOUR and with 111 concerts scattered all over the world, Zucchero succeeded to gather a live presence of about 1.000.000 persons. A year later (2007) superseded with almost 1.200.000 persons in the occasion of the FLY WORLD TOUR with more than 100 concerts and all were sold out. And also in the same footsteps this first part of the extraordinary mega ALL THE BEST WORLD TOUR 2008, left in April from the GERMANY moving AUSTRIA, FRANCE, RUSSIA, PORTUGAL, SPAIN, MOROCCO, etc. wherever the concerts is, its’ always sold out. The second part of this world tour, has left recently' Italy, and will touch base in other important world stages: ENGLAND, U.S.A., CANADA, JAPAN and AUSTRALIA.

ZUCCHERO's new album release is entitled "La Sesión Cubana" - a special album he realised while pursuing a dream he had for many years. It was recorded entirely in L’Havana, Cuba, featuring collaborations from several Cuban musicians, and was produced by Don Was. The album contains seven of his most successful hits, entirely re-arranged into new versions, alongside six previously unreleased tracks, new singles and covers and prestigious guests.
